I had such an amazing experience here! Yesterday was my first visit and I was able to get in the same day for something I was very worried about. front desk was nice, the guy who took me back was so sweet right away I knew yess these are my vibes! The assistant and the dentist were so sweet and made me feel like so comfortable! And the manager Patty? An angel! She doesn't even know how thankful I am for working with me financially. Amazing team at Heights location Mint Dental, in particular the office manager Patricia. I was in horrible pain. I had been to 4 other dental offices over the last 2 months that dropped the ball and jerked me around. I needed an extraction and same day implant. It was literally on the last day of the year and my 100% insurance coverage with 3K in benefits was going to expire. Out of options I called Mint Dental from my insurance company list of providers even though the office wasn't near my home. When I first called I was placed on hold and I listened to the owners pre-recorded information regarding his own philosophy and the Mint slogan. It sounded too good to be true and I wondered after all my previous bad experiences with other places if this was even possible. Do they really care about me like he said they would? The person that took the call was the office manager Patricia. I explained my pain and my ongoing problems with other dental offices. I spoke of my urgent need, my predicament and most importantly the time constraint I was faced with. I was impressed with her patience and understanding, her authentic empathy and the way she immediately swung into action on my behalf. Hands down she is the best health advocate I've ever met. This office managers actions and obvious care were exactly as the owner described in his recording regarding the way his clinic treated their patients. Upon arrival for my appointment Patricia was the example and representative of everything the owner said Mint Dental was about. She was courteous and professional and thorough and she actually had to speak with my insurance company herself to verify my full coverage because their own in-house insurance advocate named Stormy refused to help Patricia help me. I couldnt help but overhear her uncaring dismissive remarks through the phone as I stood at the front desk because she was so loud. The office manager pleaded with her for help. Stormy said she would not call my insurance company to verify anything because it was too late (it wasnt) and I would have to pay the 3K out of pocket I wanted to see their dentist. I was crushed. I'm on disability and on limited income and I don’t have that kind of money and that's why I have insurance. I was so distraught and in pain. I was about to lose my 3K benefit that covered the procedure. Si the very caring kind office manager called my insurance company herself and fit me in that day and i had my procedure and it was covered 100%. Thank you Mint Dental. Not Stormy. Stormy needs to learn the culture and philosophy of the owners and how he cares about his patients and being different than all other dental offices. Thank you to the awesome doctor and most of all Patricia. You saved me!!! More

Recently relocated to the area from the East Coast, and had been having a challenging time finding new Providers that are patient centric and actually took their patients under consideration. I found Dr. Young and Mint Dentistry via one carrier. Took the leap of faith for a consultation AND was BEYOND pleasantly surprised and appreciative. From the moment I entered the clinic through the time I departed, I was treated as a live person and not another number. I wasn't minimized or discounted as I've been since relocating to the state. Dr. Heston Young, and his team took the time to thoroughly walk through the recommendations, the order of presendence to execute the strategy for me to regain my smile and overall confidence. MINT Dentistry in the Heights demonstrated EXCELLENCE! My college daughter had wisdom teeth pulled in San Antonio, but was in Houston and in great pain. Even though she wasn't a regular patient, the office manager Patricia was so wonderful! They quickly got her a same day appointment, x-rays, the team provide excellent care, finding three infected areas and provided medicine. PLUS, Patricia promptly scheduled a follow-up teeth cleaning, where again, the team was very nice and did great work. Talk about spectacular customer service! Absolutely excellent experience from beginning to end. I needed to get two broken front bottom teeth (yikes!) fixed in a short timeframe for a wedding event (ahh!) and it was MINT Heights to the rescue. They put a rush on my temporary crowns and did a beautiful job putting them in. I felt like a million bucks with a complete smile, even if the crowns were temporary. Today I went back for the permanent crowns and am BLOWN away by the quality of the crowns (they are a perfect match- wow wow wow). I cannot even tell they aren’t real teeth, both in how they look and how they feel- which tells you how good of a job they did. Customer service was unparalleled. From Joshua at the front desk helping accommodate me for appointments to the dentists and hygienists. Juanita, you were AMAZING. I could tell how much you care about your patients and the quality of their care. I am so bummed I can’t remember the first dentist who helped prep and design the crowns, but he was 10/10 awesome. The final dentist I had today, Dr. Dangtran, thanks for the laughs and for doing such an impeccable job making sure the final crowns were perfect. You knocked its out of the park! All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this location. I am so grateful I chose to come to them and will return whenever needed. :) More

I have been visiting the Mint Dentistry clinic at 2225 N SHEPHERD DR Houston Tx 77008 for more than 4 months. Wonderful Experience at Mint Dentistry I had an amazing experience during my visit to Mint Dentistry. The front desk staff was extremely welcoming and ensured that my general and orthodontic appointments were scheduled in a timely manner. Dr. Bryant and her assistant Kiandra were attentive and made sure that I was comfortable throughout my treatment. They even asked for my input and presented me with multiple options rather than just making suggestions. My hygienist, Amy, went above and beyond with my cleaning. Ashlei, the office manager my treatment planner ensured that my chipped front tooth was treated the same day, and once I saw the orthodontic team, they scheduled my son's treatment on the same day as mine. The assistant who took my scans and x-rays was friendly and informative, explaining the process while we waited for Dr. Goldstein. Speaking of whom, he was very professional and assured me of great results with my orthodontic treatment. Brandon, the treatment planner, was also attentive to my questions about payments and ensured that everything was planned out to my preference. The front desk ortho representative I did not get her was also very nice and professional while confirming my future appointments. Overall, my visit to Mint Dentistry was nothing short of amazing. The quality offered is top tier but there were a few things that turned me off. First the assistant who helped me take my 360 radiographs had a smart mouth and when I can only assume when she noticed it rubbed me the wrong way is when she then attempted to be extremely nice. Dr Scott (I didn’t catch last name) was extremely warming and made my time there a little more pleasant but then… when my hygienist came in to introduce herself and while making small talk asked “are you off today? Or are you in between work?” Probably didn’t mean for it to come off as “are you in between jobs?” But I was already a little irritated at that point. More

Trying to give an objective review of this location. 1.)I chose this location instead of little York because it was either choose an acres homes dentist or the heights dentist. Yes I profiled my dentist! However the outside of the heights building looked bare and unwelcoming i almost thought they were still under construction and turned around so I give one star for appearance. 2.)I pay out of pocket and I have noticed the level of customer service not just here but for many dental offices for self pay people like me is NOT bad BUT not as accomidating as they could be. For example i prepaid thousands of dollars in cash for my operations but when I arrived the lady asked me for payment, she did not make an issue of it when I told her to check again. It can be embarrassing to be publicly asked do you have insurance? NO? OK 650 PLEASE!!!!! I'm like uhhhhh I been Paid that! I am willing to bet that I will be asked the samething for my next two prepaid operations but I say that is more of dentist culture than a characteristic of this office so I give a 3 for customer service. 3). I am a full time masters student with a part time internship and part time regular job. So for me not having insurance price is a HUGE deal. I believe that in every medical field prices should be displayed visibly for all patients! Therefore I will publicly post the cost of my 3 operations. For anyone paying out of pocket expect to pay about 3800 for 3 wisdom extractions, one root canal + crown and a deep cleaning plus 50 for nitrous oxide. All dentist are expensive idk why they are all so embarrassed to display pricing but I take enjoyment in displaying it for them. This location did have a price plan for certain procedures which is extremely helpful for people like me!! So while that price is outrageous I give 4 stars for being somewhat transparent! 4.) Finally and most importantly for me and probably most people the dentist that did the operation was superb!! I mean absolutely amazing! I have literally been two 3 dentist office over a 4 month span rescheduling over and over and over and over because I was afraid to get it done. This dentist understood how afraid I was of the pain and took great care of me. I actually did not want her to stop operating on me, it was actually a pleasing experience for me kinda like how lady's go to the nail shop! My major concern was the healing process and she prescribed me very good pain Killers and I have had no pain or discomfort since I left the office. IM currently on day 3 of healing from having 3 wisdom teeth extracted. I had a horrible experience with Jefferson dental that took my 4th wisdom tooth. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! I am satisfied to say that I am no longer afraid of the dentist because of my experience here and for that I give 5 stars if I could I would give 10! I am eternally grateful for my dentist and I will continue to choose this location as long as I live I. HOUSTON More

Excellent service from beginning to end. Starting with the appointment reminders (so helpful). Walking in and being greeted and acknowledged, easy paper work to fill out. Staff was very nice and friendly throughout the entire process. The chairs have a control for a massage while you are there laying down and BONUS even has a button to heat your chair, which was great because it was a bit chilly in there. Like some other offices, option to watch Netflix or Pandora. Not to mention the free tray/molds for teeth whitening! Already told a friend of mines about this place. Look forward to my next visit! From the first time I entered all of the staff made me feel welcomed. But the review is about today’s visit! I had to have three things done on one side ( filling, a crown, and extraction) Dr Park and the amazing dental assistant ( I forgot her name) were amazing!!!! I can’t stress how above and beyond it felt like they went, but they did everything they could to keep my pain in control! I had to bring my baby with me since my sitter called out. Having babies back to back I made no time to myself to take care of my teeth as I had in the past. So I needed to come I had all my protective gear on for myself and baby and the staff were very understanding and friendly. Even put CocoMelon on for my son to enjoy himself and remain calm while this momma got her teeth cleaned. My dentist and dental hygienist were amazing and so sweet. From the moment I step in the office to the front desk staff to the lovely assistant who took my X-rays were the nicest people to me on my first visit. I have neglected oral care and health for the majority of my life. Went to Mint Dentistry for deep scaling and gum cleaning. I had a wonderful experience at MINT Dentistry in the Heights. I came in with a cracked tooth and no insurance. I was a bit nervous knowing this wasn't going to be cheap being that I had to pay out of pocket. However, Brandon (front desk) and Ashlei (manager) guided me through payment options and signed me up for their fantastic Discount Dental Plan! Shortly after, I was taken to be seated to start my cleaning by Hygienist Rosie who was so gentle and easy on my teeth! I was then greeted by Dr.Tan and dental assistant Yaya and Wendy. Their concept is to have a dentist be a spa-like experience vs. the traumatizing dental experience we are used to. I was there for 3 hours getting a deep clean, filling, and x-rays done and got to pick out the music in my room with along with the massage setting in my chair. I have another appointment next week to do a deep cleaning on the other half of my teeth and am excited for it! What a strange thing to say about going to the dentists! More

Very easy to schedule on line. I was able to get an appointment around my work schedule. I was first greeted by the front office staff than by the assistant who took my x rays. The assistant was very friendly and explained everything she was doing step by step. Dr. Tran was friendly, explained her recommendations and answered my questions. Mint Dentistry is the place to do. Nia was my technician and she and all the staff was Phenomenal. They made sure I was comfortable, for as long as I can remember going to the dentist was painful and I always left laying more then I expected with little results. Here they carefully explained to me what was need to be done and also helped me finance what I couldn’t afford but what stood out to me was how great me smile was. Although my entire left side of my face was numb I was smiling ear to ear! And it’s true when they call it a dentist spa. Massage chairs, my choice of music or movies. Can’t wait to go back! I hate dental work but always feel like I’m in an experts hands with Dr. Tang ad Dr. Duong. They are caring as well. The dental support staff are amazing: Clarissa, Brandon. Problems are easily solved. They work with you financially. They take care credit. They make sure you’re not in pain and the facilities seem to be state of the art and modern.
