MINT Dentistry in the Heights demonstrated EXCELLENCE! My college daughter had wisdom teeth pulled in San Antonio, but was in Houston and in great pain. Even though she wasn't a regular patient, the office manager Patricia was so wonderful! They quickly got her a same day appointment, x-rays, the team provide excellent care, finding three infected areas and provided medicine. PLUS, Patricia promptly scheduled a follow-up teeth cleaning, where again, the team was very nice and did great work. Talk about spectacular customer service! Wonderful Experience at Mint Dentistry I had an amazing experience during my visit to Mint Dentistry. The front desk staff was extremely welcoming and ensured that my general and orthodontic appointments were scheduled in a timely manner. Dr. Bryant and her assistant Kiandra were attentive and made sure that I was comfortable throughout my treatment. They even asked for my input and presented me with multiple options rather than just making suggestions. My hygienist, Amy, went above and beyond with my cleaning. Ashlei, the office manager my treatment planner ensured that my chipped front tooth was treated the same day, and once I saw the orthodontic team, they scheduled my son's treatment on the same day as mine. The assistant who took my scans and x-rays was friendly and informative, explaining the process while we waited for Dr. Goldstein. Speaking of whom, he was very professional and assured me of great results with my orthodontic treatment. Brandon, the treatment planner, was also attentive to my questions about payments and ensured that everything was planned out to my preference. The front desk ortho representative I did not get her was also very nice and professional while confirming my future appointments. Overall, my visit to Mint Dentistry was nothing short of amazing. Trying to give an objective review of this location. 1.)I chose this location instead of little York because it was either choose an acres homes dentist or the heights dentist. Yes I profiled my dentist! However the outside of the heights building looked bare and unwelcoming i almost thought they were still under construction and turned around so I give one star for appearance. 2.)I pay out of pocket and I have noticed the level of customer service not just here but for many dental offices for self pay people like me is NOT bad BUT not as accomidating as they could be. For example i prepaid thousands of dollars in cash for my operations but when I arrived the lady asked me for payment, she did not make an issue of it when I told her to check again. It can be embarrassing to be publicly asked do you have insurance? NO? OK 650 PLEASE!!!!! I'm like uhhhhh I been Paid that! I am willing to bet that I will be asked the samething for my next two prepaid operations but I say that is more of dentist culture than a characteristic of this office so I give a 3 for customer service. 3). I am a full time masters student with a part time internship and part time regular job. So for me not having insurance price is a HUGE deal. I believe that in every medical field prices should be displayed visibly for all patients! Therefore I will publicly post the cost of my 3 operations. For anyone paying out of pocket expect to pay about 3800 for 3 wisdom extractions, one root canal + crown and a deep cleaning plus 50 for nitrous oxide. All dentist are expensive idk why they are all so embarrassed to display pricing but I take enjoyment in displaying it for them. This location did have a price plan for certain procedures which is extremely helpful for people like me!! So while that price is outrageous I give 4 stars for being somewhat transparent! 4.) Finally and most importantly for me and probably most people the dentist that did the operation was superb!! I mean absolutely amazing! I have literally been two 3 dentist office over a 4 month span rescheduling over and over and over and over because I was afraid to get it done. This dentist understood how afraid I was of the pain and took great care of me. I actually did not want her to stop operating on me, it was actually a pleasing experience for me kinda like how lady's go to the nail shop! My major concern was the healing process and she prescribed me very good pain Killers and I have had no pain or discomfort since I left the office. IM currently on day 3 of healing from having 3 wisdom teeth extracted. I had a horrible experience with Jefferson dental that took my 4th wisdom tooth. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! I am satisfied to say that I am no longer afraid of the dentist because of my experience here and for that I give 5 stars if I could I would give 10! I am eternally grateful for my dentist and I will continue to choose this location as long as I live I. HOUSTON More

Excellent service from beginning to end. Starting with the appointment reminders (so helpful). Walking in and being greeted and acknowledged, easy paper work to fill out. Staff was very nice and friendly throughout the entire process. The chairs have a control for a massage while you are there laying down and BONUS even has a button to heat your chair, which was great because it was a bit chilly in there. Like some other offices, option to watch Netflix or Pandora. Not to mention the free tray/molds for teeth whitening! Already told a friend of mines about this place. Look forward to my next visit! I have neglected oral care and health for the majority of my life. Went to Mint Dentistry for deep scaling and gum cleaning. More important to develop a road map to get me on track to oral health since I recently have been have some pain. The entire staff was very helpful and friendly. They took time to explain what was happening every step of the way. Also came up with a road map for me to be successful in achieving my goal for oral health. The facility is lovely, the staff were wonderful (shout out Brandon and Derek!) my dental cleaning was very thorough yet gentle. I also like how the office manager came into the room before I left and explained the pricing and procedures I will need moving forward. I left feeling taken care of and prepared for what's to come which makes the normally stressful and mysterious concept of dental health so much more palatable. More
Fantastic customer service and super friendly. They were able to book me for a Saturday cleaning and made time to work on some of my teeth that needed attention last minute after the cleaning. First time at the dentist in 5 years and went to MINT as it was part of my insurance. I LOVED it. Their concept is to have a dentist be a spa-like experience vs. the traumatizing dental experience we are used to. I was there for 3 hours getting a deep clean, filling, and x-rays done and got to pick out the music in my room with along with the massage setting in my chair. I have another appointment next week to do a deep cleaning on the other half of my teeth and am excited for it! What a strange thing to say about going to the dentists! More

I'm sticking with Mint Dentistry and I for once, plan on finishing my dental plan and be happy. Love the Heights office. My partner will also be making an appointment soon. Excellent experience each time I need to come in. The front office is stylish, clean, and inviting; nice music in the background. The neighborhood isn't the nicest.. I was surprised to find such a nice office considering the area but, its worth coming here. There was minimal wait and the girls at the welcome desk are SO sweeeet!! Professional and friendly, they made me feel special the way they called me by Ms. and not Mam'. I lliked that a lot❤Super nice! Thank you! My Dr. Tan is patient and gentle, and she walked me though every step of my procedures. My hygienist was also patient and professional with my teeth. Considering that I Do Not like dentists... , they went the extra mile to make me feel safe and comfortable. I was not expecting a dental massage chair or to be given a choice to watch tv or listen to music- with headphones!! (No drilling heard👍👍)just EXCELLENT! Thank you both!! I went in nervously and left smiling and Happy!!!😄 Most assuredly, a permanent patient. 7.23.19 I overlooked taking my whiting trays and left without them. Stressed!! But, after speaking to Liz at Mint Dentisry, she assured me that it would be absolutely no problem to make another set. I am Extatic!!😄 The process was quick and easy. And, at my request, the dental assistant who molded my new trays showed me how to insert the whitening gel properly! Something to consider. I had my suspicions but, Suez comfirmed the horror😳 Fortunately, the quality of my teeth did improve since my last visit. They are thoughough EVERYTIME! I did everything they suggested I should do in my last visit and they were very happy that I took their suggestion seriously. This is more than just a Dentist office, it's a partnership between patients and medical personnel! I Love it here!!!👍👍 By the way, I was just given a Granola bar.... This was my first time going to MINT dentistry and I love it. I accidentally scheduled a routine cleaning at the wrong location. But when I walked in to the heights location the front desk ladies we extremely helpful and friendly. They transferred all my information and scheduled me in without any wait. They also give you a complimentary teeth whitening kit with molds that are shaped to your mouth. They have a lot of availability, they were ready to fill in a cavity right after my cleaning! I love how they give you the option to fill out the forms online to speed up the process when you get in the office for your appointment. Its just like in the commercial on 97.9 The box, they let you use the iPad with beats headphones for Nexflix and Hulu. Clarissa was very nice and explained well about the teeth whitening. Cant wait to come back in six months! More
I recently moved to Texas and needed to find a new dentist. I was a little nervous because I had been putting it off due a really bad teeth whitening experience. My front teeth were ruined and felt like pumice stones. Dr. Tan turned out to be fantastic. She answered every question I had and has been very accommodating and easy to work with. Unlike other places I've been, I've always felt welcome at her office by her and her team. And I have to say, the results of my treatment have been fantastic so far - I finally feel like I can smile without being embarrassed again! If you need a dentist, I wouldn't hesitate to call Dr. Tan at MINT - She's awesome! Also, her team (front desk and back office) are the best I have seen and I will continue to go there and would highly recommend them to anyone. More

I did my teeth cleaning back in December 2018. When I arrived, I was greeted with a kind smile, and had to fill out paper work on an iPad (great idea). The wait time was a little long considering I made an appointment in advance. After she (forgot her name) called my name, she took me to take an panoramic X-ray even though I took it with a different dental office (basically free!). I was seated in an open private room (no doors), and she offered me online shows to watch with a massaging chair (only vibrations). She took my bitewing X-rays, and just general pictures of my teeth. I then waited again for her to take an impression for my teeth (free dental whitening kit to take home). The dentist came in and saw me for like 5 minutes. When the hygienist finally came, she apologized for the wait and quickly started my teeth cleaning. I thoroughly enjoyed the cleaning! She took her time and told me how to better take care of my teeth. I took 1 star off because whoever explained my treatment plan had brought me the wrong one, explained the whole thing (treatment plan was for a different patient) and took 15-20 minutes. My whole experience should’ve been about 1 hour long lasted 2:30 hours. More

Dr. Tan did an amazing job on my crown. I was experiencing a lot of pain due to another establishment putting my crown on. Dr. Tan was able to adjust my bite and fill my fillings so that I won't experience anymore pain with hot & cold temperatures! I don't know where to start. The luxury look within or the "Just Give Me Jesus" song that was playing while I waited. I love Jesus so it was perfect. I sat as my kids were on the tablets not full of anxiety and at peace. I never had an experience like this at a dentist office. Not to mention while I was getting work done my youngest son was in the next room without me and did really well and said " Mom that wasn't that bad". I had a deep cleaning and had to have an extraction. I was hurt because had this office been here years ago, I probably could have prevented it but God is still able. I cried so many times but not because of pain but because they were so kind and affordable to where I could finally get me taken care of. Their dental plan saved me a ton of money and though I was able to pay the full balance same day they offered a payment plan. I will be back. I just had my first visit to Mint dentistry in the heights and it was phenomenal. First they were very polite when I walked in. The process of signing up as a new patient is all digital which is much nicer than the norm. Then the unexpected; they give you headphones (Beats), an iPad, sun glasses and chapstick... all for while you wait. After watching some Hulu I was off to get X-rays and my cleaning. Another unexpected bonus; a tv in the exam room that you watch Netflix, Hulu etc on... obvious choice of the Office. Doctors and hygienists were very pleasant, informative and did great work. There’s even a “benefits professional” that sits before any work to make sure you know what your insurance is paying and what you’ll owe... no surprises. All I can say is that you should go to Mint Dentistry to experience it for yourself!! More
My first experience today was Aaaaawesome! From walking into the lobby. Front desk staff was pleasant and no new patient paper forms, but a tablet. Cucumber water was available. Love it. The procedure room relaxing with the massage chair and Pandora available for my listening. Not overhead speakers without control of music. Complimentary teeth whitening with my visit. Dr. Tan is great, I love her advice for my teeth and I especially love her laugh! Jasmine took my X-rays and took my teeth empressesions, love her too... we vibed to the same music! When the hygienist finally came, she apologized for the wait and quickly started my teeth cleaning. I thoroughly enjoyed the cleaning! She took her time and told me how to better take care of my teeth. I took 1 star off because whoever explained my treatment plan had brought me the wrong one, explained the whole thing (treatment plan was for a different patient) and took 15-20 minutes. My whole experience should’ve been about 1 hour long lasted 2:30 hours. More

We all hear the commercials on the radio (good advertisement by the way) and it lured me to give them a try. Jasmine -was very sweet and professional and knew what she was doing. Very wonderful bedside manners and talked me through the whole process. She also gave her personal experience with certain products, including the pros and the cons, which really encouraged me to stay on top of my dental care including the whitening process. Dr. G was very sufficient. You can tell that what's important is what counts. She didnt try to persuade me to do anything that was minor or unnecessary which was important being that.... I DONT LIKE DENTIST. We all know that the bill for dental care can be ridiculous. Her bedside manners were awesome and she was very pleasant to talk to and actively listened to any concerns I had. Janele-very sweet individual who has the hands of an angel. My gums are beyond sensitive and I've had prior cleanings that... hurt like hell. But I felt little to no pain which was very relieving. I thought I needed a debridement, but she did a deep clean and cleaned my teeth like no other. I could tell that she is more concerned with your comfort opposed to just getting the job done. Cassie- She broke down the bill and the insurance coverage as well as the smart more club plan. Which let me tell you...this plan is a blessing to any grad student who lives off of small paychecks and student loans. She explained it very well and didnt make me feel like I was looked at as everybodies pay check. Not only did everyone provide exceptional care, but the massage chairs, mini ipad, beats ear phones and the 90s R&B music they were able to play on pandora radio on the t.v. in my room was top notch. Lol I think all other dental companies better watch out because Mint Dentistry is about to take over the whole game. And I'll be a proud witness to what they have to offer now and in the future. I just had my first visit to Mint dentistry in the heights and it was phenomenal. First they were very polite when I walked in. The process of signing up as a new patient is all digital which is much nicer than the norm. Then the unexpected; they give you headphones (Beats), an iPad, sun glasses and chapstick... all for while you wait. After watching some Hulu I was off to get X-rays and my cleaning. Another unexpected bonus; a tv in the exam room that you watch Netflix, Hulu etc on... obvious choice of the Office. Doctors and hygienists were very pleasant, informative and did great work. There’s even a “benefits professional” that sits before any work to make sure you know what your insurance is paying and what you’ll owe... no surprises. All I can say is that you should go to Mint Dentistry to experience it for yourself!! More

I don't know where to start. The luxury look within or the "Just Give Me Jesus" song that was playing while I waited. I love Jesus so it was perfect. I sat as my kids were on the tablets not full of anxiety and at peace. I never had an experience like this at a dentist office. Not to mention while I was getting work done my youngest son was in the next room without me and did really well and said " Mom that wasn't that bad". I had a deep cleaning and had to have an extraction. I was hurt because had this office been here years ago, I probably could have prevented it but God is still able. I cried so many times but not because of pain but because they were so kind and affordable to where I could finally get me taken care of. Their dental plan saved me a ton of money and though I was able to pay the full balance same day they offered a payment plan. I will be back.
